He used that as an excuse for not coming in when it was snowing in Virginia. I quickly picked up on that line and used it numerous times after that. He had nothing to say in response because he had used it first.

Sounds like there are few "weather heroes" in Liberty...jleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05020049133031356160noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10998855.post-33473754980165095382008-02-12T10:29:00.000-05:002008-02-12T10:29:00.000-05:00Michiganders, like myself, don't let a little snow...Michiganders, like myself, don't let a little snow get in our way as do our Ohioan sistren. ;-)W. It WAS NOT this way in Pittsburgh.

What really befuddles me is that every time it snows (or rains) the vast majority of people react as if they've never, ever seen snow before.

It snows EVERY YEAR. Usually multiple times. And, this is the kicker, THERE ARE NO HILLS HERE. Apart from possibly Montana, there seems to be no easier place in the world to drive in the snow other than Columbus, Ohio.

Just get used to it. I once got stuck in a 4-mile traffic jam which I was SURE had been caused by a multiple-car pileup. Turns out, it had simply started to RAIN. So everybody STOPPED.

There are many things to love about Ohio and Columbus. This happens to be one of the things I hate.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02223847951343673349noreply@blogger.com
